I don`t know all the ins and outs of this but it sounds like a right mess. You`d have thought, following Colin Weir`s legacy, that things couldn`t get better for the club, but it just seems to have opened a can of worms.

It`s been rumbling on for a while - two rival supporters groups.

The PTFC Trust has until recently been very secretive about who belonged to it, and the existing Board seems to have been negotiating behind the scenes with them. Meanwhile the Jags Trust, which already owns about 11.5% of the shares, believes the existing Board has just been stringing them along.

As always in these situations it`s hard to know what the whole truth is, and probably nobody really does. Perhaps they`ll eventually have a Jags United!
