I doubt if bottom of the league Leicester City
would even have him back on a free transfer.
But as I write this Mason Mount scores a cracker
to make it 2-2.

I must be England`s lucky mascot. As soon as I turned
on to channel 4 they score 3 goals in quick succession.

Get rid of Maguire and Sterling and they would be a decent team.

Southgate has done him no favours by playing him when not match fit. He’s clearly someone that has to play every week to keep as sharp as possible. ?
Saka should play ahead of Sterling as well, but Southgate has his favourites

"Slabheid is utter dross. Remember Manure paid 75 million for this donkey lol."

I`m sure "Slabheid" will be absolutely devastated that someone on a League 1 forum thinks he`s a donkey. Terrible patter.

Why, just why did you feel the need to comment??? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
If you had an opinion on the merits on Harry Maguire then by all means contribute to the thread, but it`s really quite sad that you are looking for a reaction of another poster.

Fwiw, I feel for Maguire as it wasn`t his fault the Mancunian muppets decided to spend that much on him....

I suppose calling him Slabheid is mildly insulting but with him being the England captain or ex captain, there may be slight scope for taking the liberty. We don`t wish the guy any harm but find it goes against the grain to want him to be too successful, unless you are a diehard Man U fan.

Let`s be honest, he`s a decent player and would be in the Scotland squad if he had a Scottish granny.

That said, the media in the UK are notorious for bigging up bang average players. The agents must have mates in the media given some of the ridiculous fees.

Of course he`d be in the Scotland squad. I don`t rate him either and he`s certainly not the calibre of player that should be at Man Utd. Not a chance the likes of Hanley, Gallagher, Porteous are better than him though.

Disagree. Maguire is a brutal football player. He is ok in the air but other than that an absolute liability to have in your team.

He`s not in the best of form right now but he`s not "brutal"

He is in my opinion. How he gets a game at the top level is beyond me.

Think your right there NikNak, sometimes worse than a man short. But I think his performances dipped badly after the Greek debacle, which was a trifle hard on him, I thought. So in a magnanimous spirit I would wish him well, not least because I have a soft spot for Man U.
