Does that count as an `assist` for Joe Chalmers at the first goal?

That was a nice piece of skill by Chris Mochrie to beat his man on the edge of the box before smashing it past the keeper.

I realise it`s only the highlights but it seems like we kept pressing for more goals throughout the game, which is pleasing to behold.

What`s there keeper doing at the 1st goal? Good goal by Mochrie but missed an absolute sitter afterwards putting by the post when seemed easier to score

For a few seconds I thought it had gone over watching the game on my phone, keeper barely seemed to move or look interested. Took a moment to realise it looped in!

Ep. 4 of East End Tales is out now with Colin Miller, talking about Tannadice from 1996

I heard Allan Preston on the radio this afternoon saying he thought we were big favourites for promotion. His only concern was if DU recalled Mochrie from his loan deal. He had been speaking to JMcP who had said at this stage he didn`t know for sure what would be happening. Everyone in the studio was amazed at how few goals we had conceded over the first 16 games.

What a first touch by Mochrie for the 2nd goal.

Cancelled out by his miss later in the half.

I can`t remember a more frustrating player in front of goal.

...ken?

I still dont know how he missed that. To be fair to the boy though he creates it all himself and is probably the only player in the team that can get into that position.

his miss at home to falkirk was the same.

He misses because he is trying to be too precise, by placing it just inside the post.

For his goal, he`s just concentrated on getting a good strike on target.

To be fair it did look like the deflection was going miles over but the wind almost pulled the ball out the sky.

going from Twitter a lot of United fans either want him back to get some game time or want him recalled and sent out to the championship for the 2nd part of the season

He starts every game with us, plays in front of bigger home crowds than anyone in the Champion aside from Dundee and is playing for a side that needs to win every week.

I can`t imagine they`d take the risk by putting him in the Championship, where all sides are much the same and hope that he thrives there.

Fair enough if they want him back to help their own fight for survival.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

I`d like to think if we`re speculating about it on here & that raging slaver Allan Preston is too then our management would be talking to United now & looking at all the options. No point panicking until it`s a problem.

Was Jack Ross United`s manager when the deal was agreed? Liam Fox could have a different perspective but maybe Stevie Crawford will put in a good word for us.

I like the rhetoric DA no1. "Raging slaver" classic!!! Gave me a right good laugh. And yes, I agree with DAgo par adonis, that D Utd should recognise that we have treated Chris Mochrie very well and given him every opportunity to develop and flourish.

the club will get a hint before Saturday for all the loan players if they are allowed to play or not by their parent clubs, plans should have started weeks ago though not just for if the loanees go back but for January in general.
