No chance. The Never Do Walking Away fans would be in uproar. The absolute outrage on their forum when he left the Most Decorated Club in the World for a diddy wee Premier League club had to be seen to be believed.

Michael Beale, I`m hearing.

Not your average Sunday League player.

I hear you but they took Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd back after they left for Wolves and Nottingham Forest.Miller also played for Celtic before going back.

Mad to think that they were in the europa league final in the summer and now the manager that got them there had been sacked. The worst thing that happened to them was beating PSV to get to the Champions League group stages. If they`d went into the europa again they might have competed to get to the knockouts and not be low on confidence. Gio expected backing from the board after beating PSV and he didn`t get it. Surprised the finger hasn`t been pointed at them more than Gio.

5/1 Beale on SkyBet is where my £20 has gone. Not sure what the latest is but Rangers were definitely making overtures over the last few weeks.

They must have someone lined up to do it now?

Beale has been quoted as saying he wants to take QPR up

Not sure if Gerrard would see it as a positive move. If his ultimate ambitions are to succeed in the English Premiership it might be better to prove himself by taking a Championship team there.

One amateur team I used to play for had a white strip with a blue and red diagonal sash and the away strip was orange with blue shorts. Maybe I was a bit naive but I didn`t put two and two together.

Apparently holding out for the Everton job from the same contact told me Beale would get it about a month ago. If Lampard goes it might be worth a punt.

Cheers.Just saw that Lampard is 4/9 to be next manager sacked in EPL so could be sooner rather than later.

Wolves`s squad has gone backwards a bit over the last couple of years and there might not be a commitment to spend the money that`s needed to reinvigorate it. Rangers is obviously a gold fish bowl but he`s been messaging the players a lot before taking the job so I think he feels he knows what he`s walking into and the players will back him.

Looking at Paddy Power they have Gary O`Neil that`s just got the Bournemouth job as the favourite to loose their job next with the takeover pending and Lampard is out to 3/1

Not that I use them much but I took the price from Skybet.Looks like they haven`t updated their market as O`Neil isn`t in it.

It was only yesterday I was reading that the new owner considered Bielsa before deciding to give O`Neil the job so interesting if there has been money for it.

Paddy`s have him at 1.7 to be the next to go so chanced my arm and have gone for the 3s on FL but I don`t fancy my chances on this one.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2022/nov/29/mick-beale-is-a-cosy-appointment-when-rangers-need-a-ruthless-rebuild

An excellent read and one I fully agree with.

I don`t think the Rangers fans will refer to him as Mick, somehow?

Perhaps Disingenuous Beale is more appropriate?

Let`s hope he crashes and burns?
