Thanks partickthistlelad, I learned that away fans could only get tickets online and not from the ticket kiosks so I bought three tonight for myself, my brother and my good Thistle supporting pal, who agreed to join us in our preferred end. I`m looking forward to the game against my local team since I live within walking distance of Firhill. There may be a big crowd so being a cup game we should get our share of the gate money. Hope you enjoy the game yourself but not too much if you get my meaning.

Yeah, I saw that, EET - `A mouth-watering one course meal`.
Is that typical Glaswegian hospitality? What is it? A pint of heavy?!!!

Thinking about going to this game but have never driven to a Firhill before - before buying a ticket though can anyone tell me what the parking situation is like near/at the ground? - thanks

I went for the Scottish Cup game last year and parked at a street right next to the ground mate.

It`s possible to park without restriction in most of the side streets around Firhill, apart from the fact that they`ll already be full if you leave it too late! The earlier you get through the nearer you`ll be able to park to the ground. Probably best to set your satnav to one of the streets across the canal from Firhill, eg Panmure St or Murano St.

Last year some of the regular parking spots were becoming resident permit only and they were starting to install pay to park in the local streets. Ringo app didn’t recognise the parking code number so I didn’t pay. I guess this year it’ll cost to street park south of Firhill.

Spot on PeterHu50 several streets to the south of Maryhill Road have been metered in the last few months but north of Maryhill Road should be OK. Come early.
Some ideas might be Benview Street, Firhill Road, Kirkland Street etc.

Agreed. Absolute toilet of a ground. My worst away day last season by far

I still have a chunk of the bus windae that got panned in when we slapped them in 86 on the way to promotion to the Premier - Super John Watson with a flying bosh from his big bushy ginger napper.
