Draw is made in alphabetical order. We would have been ball number 5 so Fred is correct.

We would have had a different ball number if we had went through so wouldn`t have got Rangers

What the draw does prove is how valuable a win it was for Thistle.

Wish we had managed to get the windfall that Patrick will earn

Last year it was a heavy defeat at Ibrox that ended our decent start to season and confidence lost and never regained as we started on a slippery slope. I know it’s different management and mindset etc now but given our Ibrox record would we want a potential doing that may derail league form ? Getting promoted has to be priority

The wheels had already completely fallen off before that game at ibrox last year, completely rewriting history to say we had a decent start.

I`ve always said football is a confidence and momentum game.
The only prize that matters is the league, and while we are doing well I`d rather we played nothing but league games - and i don`t believe a windfall humping helps our cause in getting our hands on that prize

Ibrox dented our decent start to the season? We scraped a 2-2 draw at Morton then got pumped 3-0 off thistle at home. There was no decent time at all under Peter grant

Correct. We were utterly p*sh throughout his "reign"

This topic comes firmly into the category of "If my aunt was endowed with crown jewels, she`d be my uncle" and while it`s harmless enough speculation, there`s no mileage in it.
We were a bit unlucky to go out on Saturday, but there`s no point on dwelling on what might have been or who we might have drawn in the next round. FWIW, I wish Thistle all the very best in the next round, but I don`t think they`re likely to take anything more than a fat cheque away from Ibrox.
As for the Pars, the early exit may prove to be a blessing, as could losing at Dens tomorrow night. Our only aim this season has to be promotion - preferably by winning League 1. Happy to leave the lottery of the play offs to Falkirk and Co.
Not your average Sunday League player.
