Before that our next three fixtures are Airdrie (H), QOS (A) and Alloa (H). Falkirk`s are Alloa (H), Airdrie (A) and Peterhead (H).
The timing`s good in that it leaves about a month before we play them at their place.

Win the game and we’ll be in a very good position. To even draw wouldn’t be awful, would keep things as they are. Losing would be bad.
The title won’t be decided on 7th March but I’ve a feeling the winner will go on to win the title.

Yep. It may not be a title decider in that the winner can`t possibly be caught but if we win we open up a gap on them and despite their good run it`s like they can`t get past us. If they beat us then they`ll likely be 2 points (perhaps less) behind us with a game at their ground to come, the momentum of good firm and the belief of making up a large defecit to being within touching distance. If we lost I`d be worried.

It`s not a decider but assuming we both win our games next Saturday then if we were to win it would be a massive step towards the title but even if we were to draw then it would benefit us more than it would benefit them but we can`t afford to lose it in my opinion

A win for us would all but guarantee the title. 8 points ahead with 9 to go.. they would require us to lose 2 and then beat us in the last derby of the season. We won’t lose 3 out of 9 after losing 1/25.

The only thing I`m concerned about is how we approach the game. For Falkirk it`s easy - it`s win or bust, assuming the gap is still 5 pts. No guarantee of that, of course. For the Pars, as others have said, a draw would be a decent outcome. Will James McPake set us up not to lose or to go for the win and risk conceding a decisive goal?

If they fail to beat us in any of our hth games we should be firm favourites but if we dont win at least one, draws could cost us the title.
We really need to put more of our chances away.

I don`t think we have missed many sitters but we have created a lot of decent chances that were not converted.
Lucky blocks and near misses in abundance.
I just mean we need to convert more of our decent chances to be sure! To be sure!
I do think we need to learn how to put the laces through the ball though. I get so frustrated when i see someone line up a shot then literally pass it to their keeper.

5 left in the main stand 2 - 3 hundred in the Norrie. Not sure they have sold tickets under the TV gantry in the NW or the east side of the main, but certainly if there is going to be a PATG the North East will have to be opened.
Falkirk have about 100 left, but the front of the stand is closed, so would say about 2200 available to them

I’m not sure how we should play this?
Falkirk have definitely improved/strengthened since we last played them but we know they will come & try to win the game. A draw favours the Pars. We could sit deep & frustrate them. We could double - bluff & all out attack them.
Will we play the “sit back & hit them on a counter” as we did at the FS?
These games don’t come round to often let’s hope it’s a cracker!

Last season there were a few issues getting into the NW at games where it was busy, but later there was an extra gate open, with someone using a handheld scanner which worked quite well. Hopefully we have something like this on Tuesday. The problems are almost always because the ticket on someone`s phone doesn`t scan and it`s worse at big games where there will be people who are not regulars and not used to the system. Those who normally go in other parts of the ground might not have seen this as it was only the NW that was sold out for those games last season, but they need to be prepared for this in the other stands this time too.
There have been other difficulties at the NW turnstiles recently as well. Last time we played Falkirk, everyone was being body searched going in. If this really is necessary, they need to do this back from the gates. Doing it right as people are about to go in inevitably slows it down and leads to time when the turnstile is not being used, and slower entry for everyone.
And the other thing, the one that really annoys me, is that when the queue goes round the corner and behind the Norrie, the stewards do not manage the queue at all. It`s particularly annoying to wait for a while, then someone comes throught eh gate from the car park and is allowed to get in almost at the front.
If you know anyone who doesn`t go very often, it might be worth suggesting that they print the ticket if possible, as it`s more likely to scan that way. When you get a run of tickets that do scan, it works quite well but it only takes one not to work to cause huge delays.

Not sure how this will go but think our fullbacks playing well will be absolutely key to getting a result. Keeping an eye on the Falkirk results it often seems to be Kennedy / Morrison scoring or assisting. Stop them playing, either by defending well or pushing them back through our own attacking will be key.

It will be the largest home crowd for a few years. With the ‘home’ main stand pretty much sold out, and a few hundred left in the Norrie, it looks like the club are anticipating opening the north east as the bottom section of the away end nearest that stand has not opened up.

If you take Rangers out the equation the current record for the third tier in Scotland is 8526 for a game between Kilmarnock and Cowdenbeath in 1990.
I would think we are not far off that now!

Less than 100 tickets left in the Norrie. Really don`t understand why section L in the NW isn`t open? Maybe they`ll open it up on the night for PATG.

Aye we should beat that hopefully.
The Killie crowd back in 1990 is very impressive mind you as Cowdenbeath would have had about 50 at that game….

I see the logic but it’s got chaos written all over it guys who stood/sat in that section before it was shut all suddenly deciding to move along there for tomorrow night then the folk who have bought tickets for that section turn up and the argument starts on who’s sitting where probably best left well alone for tomorrow night if I’m honest still though I long for the day where I can stand at the cage again

NW will be a laugh the morn. 80% of people won`t sit in their seat so it`s a free for all to find a seat. I don`t care about people sitting in their allocated seat but it will still be carnage.

46 left in Norrie, just under 200 in the Main. No way is there going to be PATG unless the NE which should include Sect L of NW are open

Haven’t opened up all of SSEW yet, to be fair. Front 3/4 rows and the section furthest to the right haven’t been released yet. Would imagine they’ll be sold before opening the North East.

Don`t really understand why people find it so difficult to sit where their seat number is. There`s been plenty of time to organise to sit with your family/mates, so no real excuse for it.

Silly statement really. If you`re buying last minute and uour going with, say 6 people, the chances of booking 6 seats together are near impossible.

It`s as if big crowds have never happened in the history of sport, music, theatre or cinema. Can just imagine some Pars fans pitching up at a film Premiere and finding Brad Pitt or someone coming up and having to get them to move? Or the Kimg finding some random punter in their box at the Command Performance? Or even fans at a Cup final or major international game finding someone in their seat? It`s just so bizarre, and selfish.

My son has a season ticket and I don`t. I couldn`t get a seat next to him. I was lucky to get one for the NW. I was adamant I had one for the postponed game. Turns out I never. I was checking the site every few hours last weekend and one popped up for the NW. Must`ve been a refund and i was lucky enough to have looked at that time.

My season ticket seat doesn’t have a reserved sticker on it.
Will i have to get in early to make sure no one gets it?
Or can i ask whoever is sitting there to move?
I.e is it allocated seats?

Logic would suggest unallocated to avoid musical chairs as a result of people booking individual seats rather than as a group like you might for the cinema/theatre.

You could say that for almost any really busy entertainment event though right? Not saying it`s ideal but if half the folk go allocated and the other half don`t then it`s most likely the larger groups that will get screwed over anyway if they are a bit late because of work or other commitments

The NW being a free for all is fair play in my view- thats the stand you go to for the experience, not the seat.
Anywhere else folk should sit in their seats if its sold out. I`ll be turfing out anyone in my seat tomorrow in the NM as that`s the seat I paid for.

Basically sold out of what was put on sale, and given that it`s been organised pretty well so far with extra sections put on sale in both home and away sections when it looked like they`d be needed, DAFC must be aware of this.
I can only think that the reason there aren`t more available now is because of policing concerns. There must be about 300 in the East wing of the main stand that haven`t yet been made available. These are the sections closest to the away end, but given the separation between the stands, is there really anything to be concerned about?
Hopefully just a case of checking it to make sure everyone is OK with it and opening it shortly, but it`s a pity as there will be people looking just now who see no space available and who will be deprived of the chance of seeing a big game with a big crowd.

going by the tweet of over 7000 home fans and how the numbers add up then those extra east wing seats must be getting used whether its from hospitality or family etc.
dont think it has anything to do with the game from January though.
