Good listen. Thanks. He clearly enjoyed his time at the Pars.
You didn`t grill him enough on his geography though with that Ross County move. 😉

This comes up every time Morris is mentioned on here. He loved his two spells at the Pars and swore to me he never said he was heading south. I didn`t automatically believe him, but checked this out with a couple of independent sources who would know and they both confirmed the story invented by someone else - possibly his agent. One of these sources told me Callum doubled his wages when he moved to Dingwall.
Given he was a Pars player, rather than a fan, who could blame him?

I actually thought it was to do with his missus being a teacher or something and she got a job up north. Maybe just more unfounded rumours.
We were probably just gutted to lose him GG Riva.

His wife was a teacher. She got a job in Dundee when Morris joined United. She was still teaching there when he came back to the Pars. I don`t think it would have been hard for her to get a job in the Dingwall/Inverness area. Most teachers want to stay in the central belt.
