Funny how people view referees, I thought he was excellent. The one error for me was the foul where we shouldâve had the opportunity to play advantage.
Other than that struggled to disagree with any of their decisions tonight.

Think the linesman gave it. The ref only signaled for the goal when the linesman started sprinting back to the halfway line. For what it is worth from my seat in the Norrie I did not think it crossed the line, certainly not the whole ball. They did not protest much though.

From my seat in the main stand it absolutely definitely 100% did cross the line.

I agree Berry the ref had a decent game I only had him down for 2 dodgy decisions and the linesman on the NW side only had 1 so a good night for the officials

From my seat I thought it was 100% over, to the point that I was surprised to even read that others didnât think it was.

I donât think it crossed the line but it makes it all the sweeter to rub salt in their wounds.
I did immediately look to the linesman who had a much better view of it and will bow to his superior judgement.
I mean, after all, he only had to duck paper planes, not decisions.

Thought the ref was fine. Not too many controversial incidents other than the goal mind you. Missed a deflection off a defender near the end, maybe could have kept the advantage going for longer when KRH was brought down and missed a possible handball in the second half but otherwise he did well.

Thought the ref and linesman were good. Very rarely this season have we seen a linesman have the courage to make a decision but he overruled the ref a couple of times.

Ball looked clearly over the line to me. Ref was ok generally but he should have booked a couple of them in first half.

Canât believe how he never booked about 3 Falkirk players with really really poor challenges. There will be a few pars players feeling it 2morro. They will know they have been in a game.

The ref was far better than those we routinely see in this league. I thought he might have booked a couple of Falkirk players for hefty "challenges" when he just gave them a talking to, but maybe that`s my slight bias coming out. đ
I was in the West wing of the main stand and it looked a goal to me.
Not your average Sunday League player.

"Thought the ref and linesman were good. Very rarely this season have we seen a linesman have the courage to make a decision but he overruled the ref a couple of times."
Assistants don`t have the power to overrule the main official - but we get what you mean.
I was surprised that the referee allowed a second half substitution with the Pars player not leaving at the halfway line - has that rule changed ?
I suspect he applied the (unwritten) Law 18 - apply common sense - it was quicker, and expedient.

Wasn`t there a televised Scottish game recently where the ref instructed a subbed player to leave the field at the nearest point rather than the half-way line?

I think thatâs the general rule now, although itâs not used enough.

Ref was mostly good, still not sure how the tackle on Hamilton wasn`t a yellow card, he got sent flying and was in a fair amount of pain

Yes, didn`t mean overrule but actually suggest a decision rather than just use his flag to reflect the referees decision. I understand it is up to the Referee on how he chooses to use his assistants but makes sense for them to work as a team. I agree that there was a few challenges I thought were yellow at the time but you want consistency and he was the same for both sides.

By far the worst referring I`ve seen in a long time but he was consistent in making the wrong decisions. Thankfully the decisions went in our favour. Stone wall penalty for handball not given either.
Iâm here to take over!!

He didn`t get everything right but I like Euan Anderson`s style of refereeing. He seems to have some empathy with the players unlike a lot of the less experienced refs who act like control freaks.

I thought the referee was decent. He probably could/should have booked a few more Falkirk players. But Edwards could also have been booked seconds before he got his yellow as well. He was consistent and showed that he has referred big games before. Understood the occasion and didnât let that overwhelm him. Early on, there were some challenges that I commented âany other game, thatâs a yellow cardâ. But the challenge on Hamilton should have been where he drew the line, in my opinion.
As I say, overall I thought the referee and his assistants were fine. The decision making was consistent and they didnât make any glaring errors that had an impact on the result.
