I thought I would just ask a question on the forum about a number of programmes I have dating back to 1966 and the Fairs Cup. One of the programmes has been signed by several of the players. I am considering donating these to the club but not sure if they display or collect this sort of memorabilia?

Get in touch with the heritage trust IndiaPar. I’m sure they’d be interested.

The artefacts and memorabilia (including those in the Boardroom, the Jock Stein Lounge and in the display cabinets in the shop foyer) belong to Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust. This is a separate charitable trust.
The Trust have all `recent` programmes digitised, going back before the 1960`s, and indeed have given a hard drive of these to the Dunfermline Carnegie Library. Unfortunately the Trust do not have the display space to show programme collections generally -- hence the digitisation. They may however be interested in the European programmes.
I think you`ve got a couple of options as regards the non European programmes which are either to contact Sharron McColl at the Library who is creating an archive of physical programmes in addition to the digitised ones. I think she`ll be glad to take them.
Or secondly contact Marv and offer them to her to be sold in order to benefit the Club.
As regards specifically the European programmes, if you`d like to contact the Trust at https://daht.org.uk/story.php?t=Contact_Us&ID=2018
There is an email link on final page of Trust website. enquiries@daht.org.uk
Hope that helps.

I was talking with the curator of the Heritage Trust last night, and she said that she would be interested to take your programmes (of all sorts) from the 1960s and 1970`s.
Please get in touch, and we can move matters forward

Could you email me a list of what you have available please? There may be programmes that would help me close off some seasons. Happy to pay you or donate to the youth academy, cheers.
