Best player in the league. Battered Falkirk single-handedly in the second half. Absolutely fantastic season he’s having, but tonight was exceptional.

He transformed that game. Unlucky not to score another, too. Their keeper was their best player in the second half.

I utterly love him. What a player. Plus he loves the Pars. Tremendous watching him and Chris Hamilton living the dream ❤⚽️

Said it about Nisbet (and Ryan Williamson to be fair!) and I`ll say it about Todd. He`s got the potential to play at a high level if he keeps this up. Players could not handle him in the second half. He has a way of running with the ball with such power, skill and strength that players can`t take it off him. Sometimes bad things happen for a reason and for Todd, getting relegated to league one has made him massively improve as a player. So delighted to see a local lad doing so well. Absolutely superb!

Hopefully only noticed by us and hope there were no scouts at the match tonight because he would be at the top of the list to try and get him to sign for their team. Gives 110% every match and one of our own. Matty, Matty Tod, Matty, Matty Tod.

From the Falkirk highlights, he looked absolutely unplayable in the second half. Credit to the Falkirk GK for keeping it close.
Second goal shows a total team work ethic: Wighton sells himself out to get a big piece of the GK`s clearance, KRH somehow outjumps the CB and heads the ball across goal and Todd ghosts in from nowhere to slot in.

The improvement in him this season has been massive. Him and Edwards will definitely be getting monitored by other clubs

It does. I thought Chris was excellent again last night. Won so many important challenges
I know there were some grumbles when Todd, McCann and Allan were given extended deals, but it was the correct decision.
Todd has come on leaps and bounds this season

He took the game by the scruff of the neck and was levels above everyone else for a 20 min period. If he keeps that up it will probably be his last season as a pars player.
Good luck to the lad.

I disagree. Matty is still young and has still much to learn and he can do it here. He’s a fan that’s come through the system. He has time on his side.

While that is true I feel our operating model is to give youth a chance and move them on for a small fee + a sell on %, a young lad with his experience and skill set will defo be attractive and it won`t take much £250k+ for us to seriously consider an offer. I would love to see how far he can go with this side but I can`t see him not attracting bids.
It`s a great problem to have but I`m afraid he`s too good for us.

I’ve been told from a very reliable source and somebody I know at Hearts that multiple clubs in the Premiership have been monitoring Matty n Josh.
Get the extended contract and extra money on the table for the lad, he’s been excellent.

Are both not already on extended deals?

Both contracted to the end of next season. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Todd sign an extension in the summer. If we start next season we’ll, I’d expect discussions with the likes of Edwards to begin around October time.
