Thought the midfield were absolutely phenomenal tonight in what was by far their biggest test of the season. Chalmers played by far his best game in a Pars strip. He was everywhere - breaking up play, chasing back and helping the defence and playing some great passes going forward. So chuffed to see how much he has improved since last season. Hamilton was brilliant as well and played like a die hard Pars supporter tonight. You could see how much it meant to him!

Agreed Joe Chalmers was awesome tonight he gets a lot of stick on here and brings a lot of it on himself but if he gets stick on tonight’s performance then you can bolt the boy played well.

He put in a shift. And he`s got it in him, one of these days, to score a scorcher from 25 yards. I was hoping for it today when it would really count. I think he should be encouraged to have more shots from distance.

Remind me of Paul Smith back in the day. Goes about his job efficiently without much flare. If he doesn’t play that is when you miss him.

Jake was alluding to your punctuation, Bazzler. If you put a comma or full stop after Ross, it completely changes the meaning of your post. 🙂
Not your average Sunday League player.

Some would say punctuation doesn't really matter.
I think Gran'ma would disagree.

I think that`s four games in a row where a corner or cross from Joe has resulted in a goal. Defences don`t seem to be able to cope with them. He has by far the most assists in the squad.
I love the way he doesn`t let any mistake or lapse faze him but just gets on with the game. It`s also heartening to see a guy who has taken so much stick earning some recognition from the fans.

Yes agree, Joe has the ability to take the sting out of the oposition with his quality of passing. Always calm, collected and focussed during the game. Players who just get on with it are iften underestimated in what they bring to a team performance. Individual flair is one thing but you need a player who can form that connection with the rest of the team. Thats what Joe does in my view.

I thought Chris Hamilton was superb again.
It's bloody tough being a legend

Was extremely critical of Chalmers last year, but now he`s in a balanced midfield with Hamilton providing bite and protection, Todd with his huge amount of running that`s where he becomes a really tidy player. His dead balls are really dangerous and have caused a lot of problems for teams this season.
A lot of credit has to go to McPake for getting the confidence back up for players who had a torrid time last year, glad to see those guys in a much happier place.

Any idea how many set piece goals we’ve scored this season?
