Morning all!
What a great result last night, but I am struggling to read about it.
Has anyone been having bother accessing the COWS on tinterweb?
I got on fine yesterday morning, but later on in the day when I tried to get on, I got a message that my antivirus had blocked the site. The reason given was URL:BLACKLIST whatever that means.
I am still getting this message this morning and it has stopped my grin a little bit not being able to read the interviews and match write up before I head to work.
Now I admit that I`m not very tech savvy but I have been accessing COWS for eons with the same antivirus that I have now with no issues. Have I done something to annoy it? Has my (relatively) new computer taken some kind of huff with me? Is AVG a closet F*k*r* fan?
It`s all questions and no answers.
If anyone out there in Pars Land has a clue how I can fix it, please let me know.
I have to pass Balmoor Stadium later on today. I might nip in to the office and ask if there are any concerns for Saturday. I`ll keep you posted.

I`ve got no problem getting onto COWS now, though in the past I`ve sometimes had the message you got, sadindie. At those times, I just eff and blind a bit and log out and in again, or switch to Microsoft Edge instead of Google. It`s always fixed itself fairly quickly.

I`ve had exactly the same problem since yesterday. I`ve tried Google, Firefox and Microsoft Edge but none works. I`ve also deleted my browsing history but that doesn`t help either. I`ve had no similar problem with accessing any other site. I can access it via my phone but would really like to view the highlights on my laptop.

THERE DOES INDEED SEEM TO BE A PROBLEM.
my virus checker found it too.
at th emoment I don`t think it`s serious but related to other IP`s on the same network.
mxtoolbox.com seems to indicate its safe so will look into it furthe rand get resolved quickly.

I am now getting blocked from .net on Microsoft edge.
I switched over to google to get on this time.
There`s definitely gremlins at work somewhere in tinterweb ...

Ah,
i wonder if it was anything to do with my tracking down Pirates who stole the ParsTV stream last night and myh subsequent knocking them off !

It was happening yesterday afternoon if that helps, Brian. I wondered if it was due to a high incidence of people trying to buy tickets for the game but maybe that`s totally irrelevant.

It may be due to being busy last night
But the toolkit checkers are still showing ok
I`ve contacted Avast for their help
Earlier yesterday there was a problem, different I think.
The server rebooted previous night and enabled IPv6 again, and I know that causes an issue. Once I disabled it that issue was resolved.

I`ve just contacted AVG about a false positive so hopefully they can resolve this quickly (especially since we want to see the highlights ;o))
It may be that AVG noticed a large increase in traffic last night, a smallish number of people had issues receiving their new passwords, which might have caused the problem.

Had the same problems from early yesterday afternoon - couldn`t get on COWS at all.
Ran a full scan with AVG then downloaded a free trial of AVG`s Anti Track and that fixed the problem.
Don`t know if that helps or not - but should offer a short term fix for anyone desperate to get on.

do you have AVG as your anti-virus ?
I have contacted them to find out why they have a problem, no reply as yet.
unfortunately nothing will happen until they reply to let us know why there is an issue.
