Dafc123. It’s the board the police the stewards, everyone’s fault apart from the twats who tarnish the club’s reputation.
Goodness sake man, folk have to take a wee bit responsibility for their own actions & when they don’t there’s inevitably consequences.
A decent response from the club, let’s hope no further action has to come of it.

Can we not keep this on the existing thread, rather than starting a new thread?

I don’t agree with the opinions he’s put up, but no need to create new threads just to slag off/criticise another poster. There’s enough people commenting on his views within the existing thread, so what are you trying to achieve here?

"folk have to take a wee bit responsibility for their own actions"

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Trouble is, how d`you get folk to do that? If the folk who throw stuff are young? and, as you imply, irresponsible - how d`you get them to change? They maybe see themselves as free-spirited, daring and two fingers up to authority (which includes DAFC management). I don`t see how they`re gonna bother about whether the club gets fined or even docked points.

Is there a way towards a solution? Is there a spokesperson for the "throwers", who would meet with club officials etc. ?

Jaygee, you obviously weren’t at the game. You would have saw the stewards / police virtually welcoming fans on the the pitch. Fans just chancing their luck.

There’s a reason why there’s security at airports….to stop you taking c4 / 150ml of liquid onto a flight.

Anonymous keyboard warrior anyway I have now reported you and expect this thread to be taken down within 3/4 working days.

Small point - is the limit at airport security not 100ml liquids ?

I read somewhere recently that the authorities are reviewing this with a view to either dropping it or changing the volume allowed.

There`s a review to increasing it to 150ml.

Also had a trial at Cologne airport last month where they wanted to scan your liquids without taking them out your luggage, not sure if that`s wider spread yet.

Quite a few airports offer this now, Amsterdam being the first and I believe it will be implemented at Edinburgh soon
