Seemed to be some sort of stramash in the tunnel at the end of the game.
Also McPake getting heckled at the end by complete numpties in the main stand, brutal.

I’m telling you: we have the most fickle fans in Scotland. McPake wasn’t to blame at all today. Injuries pushed us in to some unfortunate circumstances, and he had to manage it the best he could. Fans in the main stand are, for the most part, old codgers that haven’t a clue.
We just weren’t at it today. Edinburgh came for a draw, sat back and made it difficult for us. The weather was shoit and we just never got a grip at all. McPake can’t control that really.
Top of the league looking down on the F*lkirk!

Don’t get any criticism of the manager. Edinburgh are a stuffy team and the last game against them at EEP was similar with a deflected goal at the end giving us the points. Anyhow- back to the scrap. Was disappointed not to get a good view of it as it was arguably the best action in an otherwise drab afternoon.

The ones having a go at McPake are absolute roasters who sit in the front seats of the South West stand. You know who you are!

Row_ZZ …..
Just about PML at your inspired analysis of the occupants of the main stand.
As one of those you so eloquently describe, I console myself knowing that what you so aptly describe is waiting for you yourself …. just down the road a bit.
Priceless….absolutely priceless 😂

9 points clear with 8 games to go. More clean sheets than goals conceded. But fans are having a go at the manager? Strange behaviour. We had a poor day, but still extended our lead at the top. Yes, we’d rather win. Yes, we’d have liked to play better. But one poor game doesn’t mean the manager isn’t doing his job well and certainly doesn’t warrant fans shouting at him at full time.

I would guess the handbags were to do with not returning possession properly after their keeper kicked it out to allow their player treatment. That and the way Edinburgh played.
Instead we pressed and played the ball out for a throw, which meant they were under pressure. I think Craigen was expressing his view to McGowan at the time.

The crap that’s spouted in the Main Stand throughout the game is laughable.
One mistake and they are right down their necks.

Mcpake got his subs wrong today but the majority of the time he has got it right. At least he tries to change it when players/formations are not working. He has done an excellent job so far with the players he has at his disposal

Mcpake hasn’t got much wrong in his time with us, especially with subs. But to remove O’Hara at HT was an awful move, Lewis McCann offers absolutely nothing. Paul Allan for Chris Hamilton too..deary deary me. A like for like. They subs were never gonna change the game.

The subs the fans would have made always have a positive impact. Football management is easy with the benefit of hindsight.
Were any cards shown after the incident in the tunnel? The ref took off like a scalded cat.

For me it was obvious,,,,something gaun oan with the twa managers
After the final whistle.....the walk back into the changing rooms .....The managers were chipping away at each other and had to be held apart......several times.......knowing the competitive nature of the two of them.....what do you expect.....

Looked like Mark Kerr, rather than Maybury. Think the ref had to have a word with them in the first half too? After their number 7 had been warned (for the third time) then tried to injure Mehmet while he was in the air. Somehow, that wasn’t a free kick, the referee let that guy away with everything all day long.

It was definitely Mark Kerr and JMcP. Maybe a hangover from Dundee derbies?

I think Edinburgh came to frustrate and hold out for a 0-0. Always makes the game difficult.as they say you can only play as well as the opposition let you. Maybe there was frustration for JM but I though Edinburgh struggled the last 20 with players cramping up. Irrespective of the result and looking behind it, I thought we looked like a team with strength and fitness who will be a good championship side next season.
