I saw quite a bit of East Fife - Clyde tonight - not much in it but Clyde never looked in any danger after getting the lead and the only decent chance after that fell to them. Their low points total this year is at odds with what I`ve seen, when they haven`t been terrible in any of the 5 games. Looked like a decent crowd and obviously it`s not over yet, but it`s hard to see them scoring many goals based on tonight.
Hilarious to hear the half-time score from Airdrie. It should be all over, but of all the teams in the league, Airdrie are the one who I`d have as most susceptible to a collapse given how they set up. Capable of blowing teams away, but equally capable of losing plenty of goals if things turn against them.

It’s not over. Airdrie have collapsed against Edinburgh a couple of times and also in some other games - remember we scored 4 in half an hour against them!
There’s no doubt Falkirk have some good players, so they’re capable of doing it. But it’s all about Airdrie’s mentality now. Falkirk kind of have nothing to lose in the second leg.

Their wall at that free kick was laughable. The man on the end (Burrell?) just stepped aside and the shot went through the gap. Donaldson was livid.
The defending overall in that match explains I think why we ended up 14 points ahead of the pack.

Aye, if it was any other team but Airdrie, I`d say no chance of overturning a 4 goal deficit. 2 goals in each half and 1 in e.t. Not impossible. The tricky bit for Falkirk would be simultaneously keeping a clean sheet. 😃

After ourselves, Airdrie have kept the most clean sheets in the division with 13.The problem for them seems to be that they conceded in multiples. They have the best attacking record so perhaps they have sacrificed their defence somewhat to achieve that?

Over 2.5 21/36
Depends on the odds you are getting.Interestingly, over 3.5 goals occurred in 19 of their 36 games, so that may have been the way to go.Stats are from regular league games and not including last night.
