Hi folks,
Sure there will be a couple on here who can help, my 7yo has been attending the Pars Foundation training sessions and he’s getting the itch to join a team and play some matches.
Does anyone know of a way into the set-up or who can help please?

Sometimes if you ask the pars foundation coaches they will point you in direction of a team

Don`t know where you are based Berry but I can vouch for the setup at Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts. My son played with them for 5 or 6 years up to age 16 and my daughter is nearly 12 and been there 5 years. Their girls section has grown phenomenally in the last few years.

Cheers for the suggestions folks. JTH, live at Masterton so Inverkeithing would be absolutely fine.
Just keen that where he goes is enjoyable, not ultra pushed/competitive at his age.

The Pars foundation are linked to a number of teams. East End boys/East End Whites etc depending on the year. They also have the Norries etc. They can deffo point you towards a team.

Would highly recommend contacting Kelty Hearts Community Club via Facebook - our 6 year old has been with them for a few months now and the whole set up is great and he loves it. Trains on the main pitch and then plays matches in the fun fours at Pitreavie on a Saturday.
We had tried to get a Pars foundation team but they said they were full up.

Brilliant. I`m sure he`ll love it.
A word of advice for you when you`re watching. Have a heavy jacket, gloves, brolly and a warm hat in the car if you`re going to Queen Anne, Pitreavie or the Bally Bank. Even in the middle of summer!

What the point in that though? Getting him a comfortable pastime? No. Get him ultra pushed and competitive
