Lang surely won`t get a Premiership gig? He`s permanently injured.

According to wikipedia Lang has played in 30 league games in the two seasons he has been with Raith. He tore an ACL in February 2022 which required an operation and had a bad time with injuries when with us but seems to be OK now.
It`s funny how fans get the idea that a player is `injury prone`. Recently someone on here said Kevin Nisbet was also `injury prone`. Like Lang he suffered a serious injury from which he recently recovered but, otherwise, I think he`s been more or less injury-free.

According to a Rovers supporting work colleague - Tom Lang and Aiden Conolly are both linked with coming back to The Pars.
How much truth there is in it I do not know - Lang could be a good signing - not sure about Conolly though.

Connolly was their top scorer with 10 goals I think.

Yes, the above rumour has substance. Lang is more convinced of a move to us and Connolly is on the fence. Whether or not any will materialise, who knows.

I`d be very surprised if either of them were on our wanted list.

Albion Rovers midfielder Charlie Reilly insists his reported move to Dundee is not finalised and "there are a couple of clubs talking" as the 21-year-old midfielder prepares to leave Cliftonville after their Scottish League 2 play-off final second leg against Spartans. (Sunday Post, print edition)
Charlie Reilly, who is poised to sign for Scottish Championship winners Dundee, says going part-time with Albion Rovers to "experience of men`s football rather than reserves" was "the best thing I ever did" after being released by Hamilton Academical and Partick Thistle. (Scotland On Sunday)

From the Sun :-
CALLUM DAVIDSON has performed a shock u-turn to REJECT the Dundee job. SunSport revealed this morning how Dens Park chiefs planned to name the 46-year-old ex-St Johnstone gaffer as Gary Bowyer’s replacement later today. Davidson held talks with John Nelms and Gordon Strachan on Tuesday and left them confident they had their man. Dundee expected to be making an announcement and kick off the process of rebuilding their squad this afternoon. But the former Scotland defender has stunned them by deciding overnight the gig is NOT for him after all.
Davidson, out of work after being sacked by Saints last month, was the preferred candidate from the moment Bowyer was sacked last Wednesday. Dundee have had days of talks between Nelms and technical director Strachan as well as with the former Scotland, Blackburn, Preston and Leicester defender. But despite being interested in the opportunity to get back into management so swiftly, Davidson will now wait for other options.

I don`t think he`d be a good fit for Dundee, simply because of the St Johnstone connection. If he doesn`t start really, really well the fans would be on his back.
Reckon he might end up at a Livingston or perhaps even as a coach again at a far bigger club down south.
