Following on from the successful other mental health improvement programmes, like football fans in training, Monday night football and the walk and talk group, The Pars Foundation are making their debut in bringing a new mental health initiative the Changing Room Project to Dunfermline.
The Changing Room is a unique, ground breaking 12 week programme that uses the power of football to bring men together into the heart of their football club to take action for their mental health and wellbeing. The Changing Room also has a strong peer support element to it, with participants helping one another as the move through the programme, and beyond it.
Although this project is based at East End Park, you do not need to support The Pars to join in.
The Changing Room has the following aims;
• To enable men in their middle years to better self-manage their own mental health and support each other.
• To reduce loneliness and isolation of men in their middle years.
• To increase the social connectedness of men in their middle years (30-60+ years).
The programme will start on Monday 15th May, 6pm at East End Park. Please contact for more information

This unfortunately is the first time I`ve looked at this thread as I thought it would be something uninteresting like new showers or a paint job. Maybe the OP could have stuck something in brackets like : The changing room (mental health program). Not a dig, just a suggestion 😉
I would have been very interested in this but having missed two weeks I`d feel exceptionally awkward turning up for week 3, with social anxiety being one of my main issues.
I hope it benefits all who attend though.
