They have a very real chance to end the Bayern stranglehold in the Bundesliga. 1 point with 2 games to play whereas Bayern have played a game more.
Exciting stuff if the German league is of any interest to you.

I`ve seen a few German teams in action over the years, mostly at Ibrox or Celtic Park. Bayern Munich, Cologne, Eintracht and several others but the Dortmund game I saw was at Hampden when the beat Liverpool in the final of the European Winners Cup. Great game!!
You have an interesting collection of teams Big T, Tranent, Dunfermline and Borrusia Dortmund. Sadly it looks as though Tranent may be the only one who didn`t win their league.

Wow. What an amazing game to say that you were at mate. The first German team to win a European trophy.
Yeah, but tbf Big T had a fantastic season and hopefully we can emulate what Spartans have achieved.
Could possibly be a Carlsberger of a season mate 🖤🤍❤️💛🖤💛

I wondered what you were talking about as last time I looked Bayern were top with just 2 rounds to play. Losing at home to RBL must have been a real shock for the serial Bundesliga winners. BVB still have to negotiate 2 tricky games themselves, but you`d think they will grab this unexpected opportunity with both hands.
I hope so anyway. It`s not good to have the same team winning the League, year after year - in any country.
Not your average Sunday League player.

Only have themselves to blame. Sacking Nagelsmann was absolutely insane and they`ve only gonna massively downhill from there. Factor in Mane causing disruption too. All for big teams collapsing (Looking at you Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Juve)

I thought I’d go to my first bundesliga game the other week. I was in Frankfurt in any case so timing was right before I had to get my flight on Saturday night. It was a meaningless end of season game so I thought I’d be able to roll up and buy a ticket at the ground - so did some of the Germans in the car park…….but, no. 51,500 sell out for a game against Augsburg……..Oh well…….know better next time…….. ( it ended 1-1 …….didn’t sound too exciting).

If Celtic had been there it might have been their first Euro trophy.
They were robbed at Anfield in the semi final with an offside goal that should have stood.

Can`t say I remember the Celtic/Liverpool game VEE but in 1966 Celtic were just coming to the height of their powers under Jock Stein. Maybe better that they kept their powder dry for the following season when they lifted the European Cup.

A devestating blow to Dortmund that will take them decades to recover from. Also a hammer blow to the Bundesliga. Bayern winning the title yet again during a transitional season, and let`s face it they`ll probably now win it for the next ten, confirms the Bundesliga as an irrelevance in terms of being a compelling watch outside of Germany.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Got exactly what they deserved. Thought they could just turn up and win it.
The fact the club had already organised a victory parade for 200000 people shows the arrogance.
This is probably why the players thought all they had to do was turn up.
Feel sorry for their fans.

Organising a victory parade before they had clinched it, makes it feel a bit like they got exactly what they deserved.
I see the Hamburg fans had a full scale pitch invasion thinking they had been promoted today, but their promotion rivals got a 93rd minute equaliser, followed by a 97th minute winner to claim promotion to the Bundesliga. Sair wan

To be fair large scale parades take a bit of organising so it sort of makes sense to have planned it rather than not to have planned at and have a last minute rush that might end up in carnage.

Sounds a bit like The Pars back in the 80s, only for Leish to come out with the bad news. Pre-smart phones, rumour and wishful thinking.

Exactly this. It was always stated, that in the event of Dortmund winning, this was the route of the parade.
