Looks to be retiring but worth offering a deal?

I remember reading that when he was on loan to us he would have signed for us. However Rangers took him back and the rest is history. If Deniz leaves, Allan might want to sign for a year.

Arfield will be heading to Falkirk. If this is his last year he wants to retire there

I would take McGregor without hesitation, still has a few years left.

Arfield will be away to Falkirk. Alan McGregor and Paul McGowan in the same team. Think that’s a recipe for disaster tbh.
Top of the league looking down on the F*lkirk!

Surely Arfield has got at least another year in him at a top 6 club in Scotland, or possibly the touted move to Vancouver. It would be a big drop from being a player that turned out quite regularly for the second best team in Scotland last season, to drop down to the third tier

He would be a good signing at least for a season if our current no 1 decides to move on.

Mind his V signs with Ferguson to the journalists? Walter Smith said their Rangers careers were over with him in charge there and then. He got fined, suspended and transfer listed. Then, less than a year later, he was involved in a nightclub brawl in Glasgow and not selected by Levein for Scotland as a result of the likely adverse media reaction. At the time of both incidents, he was in his late 20`s, not a young, daft boy.
I`d have major reservations over his character and workrate/commitment, given he`s 41. Maybe as a coaching role and back up to a younger keeper, but to me, sends the wrong message. We should be signing players with a sell on value, not old crocks.

Sorry but I think he’s a Billy big baws character who wouldn’t be good for the dressing room.

Agree with the above two posts. Leave Mcgregor to his pipe and slippers.
