Lawless never hit a shot like that when he played for us!

Looking very easy for Partick Thistle. Lee Bullen looking worried. A bit of a gap opening up at the top of the league. We need to pull away from the lower half and join them.

Partick goalie has impressed.

Never a 4-0 game. Ayr have had chances but not taken them
Partick have been pretty clinical

The Ayr player on loan from Dundee Utd looked good, strange to loan out to a team in the same division.

Wonder if Mochrie would like a return gig?

More proof that Lawless didn`t give a toss whilst at us.

Kinda thinking we`re going to struggle 1st half of this season until we get important players back fit. I think most of our points are going to have to come 2nd half.

Or maybe it had more to do with how poorly our squad was managed during that awful season, Gaz? Put it this way, I don`t believe we would have been in any danger of relegation with those very same players if we`d had James McPake and Dave Mackay in charge.

When players become disaffected, they`re not going to produce their best form. It need not necessarily be deliberate. As in any walk of life, your head has to be right to produce your best. We had a lot of unhappy players towards the end of that season, in marked contrast to the harmonious squad we have now. Great credit to McPake and Mackay for creating that.

Not your average Sunday League player.

Thought Thistle might struggle this season after the play off collapse and what seemed like a mass exodus of key players.

Looking decent so far

Ep.11 of East End Tales is out now- Jack de Gier!

thought Mcinroy was really good for Partick gets himself about defensively and going forward very good.

That is someone we should have tried to sign would definitely improve our current squad, but unfortunately, we had different signing targets it would seem.

Maybe a bit of that GG.
But Lawless has been a `Partick man` for a long time, that has an influence.
