And programmes now only sold in Legends/Ds, ticket office and the club shop.
Lack of bodies volunteering to help out now or an indication of society wanting more online only?

Do they have a QR code in the stands? Then again signal not great, might be a costly swap?

No, they said they reviewed the sales from online and in person and the money raised from in person sales was far outweighed by online and so it wasn`t worth it.
A lot of folk are like me on a match day now and never have cash on them. I pay for everything by card pretty much, and so haven`t bought a 50/50 for over a year for that reason. Having said that, I always forget to buy them online too.

I’ve bought them at pretty much every home game for at least the last 30 years (probably longer) but doubt I’ll bother online - never a sniff of a winner though

‼️ Please note no match tickets can be purchased in the club shop after 2pm. Tickets sales from 2pm through to kick off will be in the ticket cabin at the corner of the Main and Norrie McCathie stand. Cash and Card payments are available.
In bold so I believe this a new policy also

I miss being able to tear my tickets up into tiny pieces and throw them into the air, over everyone in my vicinity.
I tried smashing my phone instead but it`s just not the same.

LOL fcda were you that guy.
I did wonder how they managed to do it with online and offline so they probably decided better 1 way or the other.
I was 1 ticket out once back when it was 10p a ticket so there were roughly 10 times more tickets as everyone bought at least a pound. Never near it since.
It`s a tough one a lot won`t bother now but on the flip side a lot will still buy whether they are at the game or not. Could they have 2 draws?

Only won it once but it was a biggy. An end of season Celtic match before eep got the new stands. £950 and they paid us out in coins. Had to lug two carrier bags home from the match with two friendly polis escorting us as far as the police station. The bank made us sort it into £5 bags before they would accept it.

They actually had the notes but couldn’t be bothered to take the coins to the bank themselves 🤣

50/50 online and no ticket sales in shop after 2pm on Saturdays. Do the club really think about these changes in regards to lost revenue, or inconvenience for fans? So many people use the change in their pockets to buy 50/50 tickets and a programme as they walk into the ground and fans go into the shop for a ticket and buy a scarf or a top on impulse. A Saturday afternoon is the only time many fans get a chance to have a look at the latest items in the shop. Also, I noticed that the shop is not open after games now, another recent change, which again must affect revenue. Stop making changes without considering the fans, remember without fans the club is nothing.

So many people clearly don’t use change to buy as the sales on 50/50 and programmes are so poor. I’d suggest the club know the numbers and are far better placed to make changes.

It`ll be interesting to see how this goes. Online only means no need for printing tickets and less admin, but some people will presumably stop buying them because they`re not confident using the internet or it`s just too clunky a process.

They may well be selling more overall given it is not exclusive to people going to the games anymore. I do think they should have kept someone selling them at ground. Even 1 person outside club shop or Norrie ticket booth.

I used to religiously buy two 50/50s and a programme when entering the Norrie. Not bought any this year as never seen a seller there at all.
Very easy to say online sales are better than in person, when there`s no people selling where there used to be.

The club are employing more and more staff to beef up the off field management and commercial areas, but choosing not to deploy these wages to provide ticket and 50/50 services in traditional ways.
Interesting stuff, must have deemed it commercially viable to do it this way.
Don’t halt the progress people, next, it could be you deemed to be commercially “unviable” 👀🤣

A small thing but part of the traditional match day experience gone. I`ve notice that the 50/50 sellers have not been as visible this year in the usual places so no wonder physical sales are down.

In the days just before administration it was easy. Only directors tickets went in the draw…allegedly.
