As well as we have played in a long time.
Passing, movement and pressing was excellent, especially first half.
Defended superbly for a fifteen minute spell when Morton had a go but anything other than a two goal win would have been an injustice.
Some superb young players our team just now.
Mehmet, Breen, Benedictus, KRH and Todd missing.
Hypothetically, if they were available next week, I’m not sure any would get a game?
Bright times ahead

There was some excellent one touch football on a number of occasions today ,the second goal a prime example. THE passing for the third also ,a joy to watch

Yes,O`Halleran was superb but what about that midfield maestro Chalmers. Just brilliant in the first half. If we had put away two guilt edged chances we would have made it easy street. In the event we only made certain when O`Halleran rolled in the third.

We were excellent today. It would have been so disappointing if we would have blown that as we gave them far too much space in the second half in our box but in reality, we should have been out of sight before they scored their goal. Summers looks like he could be have a fantastic career ahead of him. He was incredible today and deserved a goal himself! It`s great to see O`Halloran begin to show a bit of consistency as well as I worried he would not do enough for us but he seems to be thriving at right wing back. His finish was excellent as well.
Our second goal has to be pick of the bunch. Excellent build up play and a good finish from McCann. Today was always going to be a tough game but we were quality, especially in the midfield. We have a tough game next week but we have every right to feel like we can take something at Firhill.
This is the most excited I`ve felt in a long time being a Pars fan. It`s so refreshing to see so many young players getting a chance for us and getting better and better each week!

Wasn`t sure that shape with Moffat and Summers behind Jakubiak worked once the substitutions were made and it wasn`t a surprise that our worst spell came then. Up until the changes it was a really good performance, with Summers, McCann, Wighton, Hamilton, Fisher, Otoo and Edwards being excellent. Second goal in particular was the kind of goal Man City score, with Otto high up, Edwards almost as a winger and a McCann finish from what looked like only a yard. Excellent team goal. Seems like the players were all chuffed for O`Halloran too, hopefully that`s the first of many.

Blethered to our third goal hero on the way home - he’s as chuffed as we all are. Good team spirit and looking forward to next week at Firhill.

It`s a long time since I enjoyed a Pars game as much as I did today. Some of the passages of play involving our new signings were almost sublime. The confidence running through the team from 1 to 11, or whatever numbers they were wearing, is palpable.
Raymie makes a good point in that a number of automatic choices from last season, who are currently injured, are not guaranteed to walk straight back into the team when they are fully fit again.
Great time to be a Pars fan. 😀

Once again, no one was posted missing today & signings Fisher & Summers have settled in nicely. Nubies Jacubiak & Moffat both look tasty & look forward to seeing more of them (Moffat looks like a very good loan signing by McPake)
When everyone is back fit, McPake’s hardest job will be to
select a team

We`ve got some entertainers in our line up, came off the starting blocks and pounded Morton, should have been 5 or 6!
Some competition when everyone back fit.

McCann and Wighton as a front 2 worked well too. I though McCann seems his best cutting in from the left but he`s a real presence when playing more centrally and the link up between the two was good to watch

Pars’ rotation caused Morton lots of problems today.
They didn’t know who to pick up, at times
