By no means easy this week. Lots of good performances today. Summers just edged it for me with Fisher a close second. As I say not easy. A very good game to be at today. Well done Pars 🏁🏁

I`d agree with Summers. We`re still to see the best of him ..........I`m sure he`ll be winning a few MOTMs this season.........

Was my MOM but could also have given it to Chalmers, Edwards, Fisher, Hamilton, O’Halloran, Otoo………

Young Moffat is a mighty fine player, too. I have to say that our management certainly does the homework on the loanees that we bring in. Very impressive.

I was swithering between O’Halloran and Summers all game to be honest.
First half I thoughtO’Halloran edged it, thought he was excellent running at defenders making chances, was the best I’ve seen him play for us to date.
Second half thought not as impactful as the first half and Summers was excellent, he is a quality acquisition…however have to give to O’Halloran this week, the third goal was the deciding factor.

I think Joe is very much underrated. He connects the play from back to front. With good players around him now I think he will be a standout this season.

Could have been 1 of 4/5 today, but probably Summers just over MOH.
Moffat looks very exciting as well, and may have played with Summers at Celtic too which looked evident in some of their exchanges. Josh Edwards is some attacking full back as well, great engine and his runs and crosses are very good for this level!

It is very difficult to choose between Fisher, Otoo, Summers, and O`Halloran.
I appreciate Mochrie scoring today, but Summers is a definite upgrade.

Summers was the standout for me (and deserved winner of official award)in a game when the team played very, very well. He looks like he’ll go on to have a decent career at the top level. Otoo was magnificent. I was just saying to a pal that I would be comfortable with him playing in any outfield position if circumstances required it.

I think what we will get from Summers is consistency in performances. I think Mochrie lacked this for one reason or another

Agreed. Unlike other talented youngsters we’ve taken on loan (Mochrie a good example), he’s already got a degree of physical strength that will see him dominate the type of agricultural opposition he came up against today.

Same for me. They were consistently good across both halves.
I thought Fisher had a brilliant first half. Summers didn`t really seem to get into the game first half but was excellent in the second whereas Wighton had a great first half. And what about McCann`s howitzer that crashed off the bar!
Special mention for MOH - we saw what he is about today. And Chalmers was much better defensively than I`ve seen him before.

Surely Chalmers performances last season and at the start of this have persuaded the doubters of his quality. As a pal of mine said today, “he was like Pirlo”. 😀

Exactly what I thought about Chalmers, he was spraying the ball with precision and nonchalant ease. Poetry in motion. As for Ben Summers, he was good and occasionally brilliant but hardly head and shoulders above the rest.

You could make an argument for any of the outfield players today, which is testament to our performance.
O’Halloran edged it for me. Could`ve named anyone else as second place, fantastic team performance.

O’Halloran was ace as well. I’d have taken him off though and kept McCann on. Only goes to show that James McPake knows more about fitba than me.

McCann put a great shift in and was struggling. Good decision to take him off.

Fair enough. I was concerned about him getting a knock from the Morton sh!thousery he was being subjected to in a season when he looked to be coming into a bit of form and our luck with injuries has been horrendous. I thought a player a decade younger would have been the better call to see the game out. As I said, McPake knows better than me.

I’ve no been the biggest O Halloran fan but I thought today he was awesome. He was always looking for the ball and prepare to take his man on. Otoo had a good game. The whole team looked up for it from the start. We could have scored 5/6 today with the chances we had.

The whole team deserve the award! Summers and O’Haloran were superb. Moffat impressed when he came on. I don’t envy the manager picking his starting 11 when everyone is fit….

I think the fact that OHalloran ran from his own half in the 89th minute to score shows his commitment. Took it well in the end. In days gone by we were putting those on the other side of the post

McPake plays the loan market better than any previous manager we`ve had. The fact we signed 3 loan players from last season on permanent deals shows that he really looks for those who will add value, both on the park and off it.
Summers will be a standout this season. His touch and intelligence are a level above the championship. He`s an exciting prospect. Could pick anyone as MOM yesterday, but summers edges it for me.
Echo the comments about Chalmers though, an unsung hero who never hides. Even when he has a bad game he doesn`t shy away from the ball, which sometimes exposes him more than others. When other players are having an off day, they hide, which means they`re far less obvious..Chalmers never hides, and always wants the ball.
