Good solid signing. Hopefully he can keep clear of injuries. This is along the theme of bringing in loan players so that we can take a look at them and they can see how the club operates. We want him, he wants to be here. Win win as I see it.

Excellent signing, can score goals, link up play from the midfield and win fouls up the pitch with a style not too dissimilar to how ironically Harry Kane has found fame in doing it.

Need a decent midfield to provide Kane with goal opportunities.. plus an extra striker to link with Kane…still a lot of work to do but a good signing.
Would be very surprised if we sign another striker considering we now have four…..
An attacking mid/10 who can play right side too would be good.
Other signings will be RB/LB….maybe two….if Edwards leaves and a keeper.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Yeah can’t see another striker coming on the books, not as a priority anyway with us having Kane, Wighton and McCann.
It will be really interesting to see how this works out, if Kane and Wighton can stay injury free and find their form then we have some striking pair there.
Supplemented with McCann who I seem to say each year that he’s had enough chances, but feels like he’s got one more opportunity so fingers crossed.
We need to ditch the wing back play though, it’s not going to get the best of KRH, get Comrie at RB who is as reliable as you can get really and allow KRH to do his thing up the wing and drift centrally.
We then need an equivalent on the left wing but have no idea who is available.
If we kept Edwards that would be brilliant and he could be our Mr Reliable at left back but more opportunity to do the overlapping runs with him than Comrie on the other side.
We still need a CB and a midfielder but it’s good that we’ve scored an early deal, sooner we get our business done the better and then we can just focus on the field and making a right go at it next season.

I suspect a center half is signing hence the comments about budget and from the supporters meeting about loan signings being permanent, either MFW which would be amazing or MWH, and a new keeper either as first choice or back up. And then the rest will be loan deals as usual.

Lewis Smith being linked.
Lanarkshire Live Sport understands Smith has been offered a new deal at Accies with his contract up at the end of the month, but he is currently mulling over his future.
And that could be at Livingston. Smith has met with Lions boss David Martindale about a potential move and has been given a tour round Almondvale Stadium.
Fellow Championship clubs Dunfermline Athletic, Raith Rovers and Ayr United are also understood to be keeping tabs on the player.
