Good morning

Here is a summary of School Engagement activities for the school session September 2023 - June 2024 inclusive.

As always, Wullie Oliphant leads the field, with "Pars Media Stars", which visit local primary schools to deliver a day of literacy based around the Club, followed by a coaching session from Pars Foundation coaches.

Schools visited 36 (final visit coming up in June)
Pupils engaged 1,443

Gennaro Guidice and Sandy Wyse deliver "Pars Tackle Health", a National award-winning community engagement programme in which players visit local primaries to talk about health, diet, fitness and resilience.

Schools visited 22
Pupils involved 1,320
Players engaged in talking directly to pupils 22

Dave Dawson, along with volunteer "guides", takes primary and secondary age pupils around the stadium to give pupils a taste of real jobs, in hospitality, retail, ground maintenance, and media.

Schools visiting East End Park 5
Pupils engaged 92

Business Management pupils in 3 local secondaries engaged with a presentation on how the club markets itself to the various supporters and partners. This involved 64 pupils.

Finally, a Local History Story Boards tour was developed with 1 primary school, 58 pupils, and we hope to extend in the new season.

All involved are volunteers, who give their time freely.

Grateful thanks to players and management and staff at East End Park, the Pars Foundation for resources and football coaches, and the terrific support from all school and pupils involved. Bookings for next season have already started!
