Looks like they are in big financial bother according to their FB page, appointing an insolvency practitioner in case a new owner or investor cannot be found.

There but for the grace of God, as they say. Our old ownership model operated on the smell of an oily rag. Had we not had the German investment, I do wonder if we would have survived relegation to League One or, indeed, got out of it. I hope ICT pulls through this.

Probably hear the name Brian Jackson soon, the football club insolvency expert. 2013 all over again, gives me the shudders even to this day.

Seen this online earlier on press and journal website.
Stefan Winiarski, Kelty Hearts’ general manager, said: “We have not been told by anyone at Caley Thistle that the deal is off. An agreement was signed, but we haven’t heard from anyone at the club.
“We have tried to speak to the CEO and chairman, Scot Gardiner and Ross Morrison, but we haven’t heard back from them. But I believe they have both now stood down – no one else from the board of directors have got in touch.
“The only thing is we are now financially out of pocket due to refurbishment work we have carried out, as part of the deal.”

You don`t have to sign anything to form a contract.
An offer, an acceptance, and an intention to form a legal agreement is enough
Seems like all of these components were well communicated for all to see.
Defo a contract.

Ther might have been an agreement between the two clubs, but a more relevant questions is whether or not Kelty were entitled to enter into such an agreement. The ground is owned by Fife Council, and it was incredible to read that they hadn`t been consulted.

The pitch there is meant to be for community use, though Kelty Hearts presumably have an agreement with Fife Council to use it for their own games and training. Did they just think nobody would notice if they tried to allow another club access to it and make money from doing so?

I think Inverness should look at their player development and recruitment. Every fan would like players from their local area but surely that is even more important up there? Use the best you can get locally, see what level that takes you to, and supplement it a bit if finances permit. All this talk about selling the housing the players use makes them sound a bit like mercenaries, only there for free lodgings...
In our last game against Inverness they fielded only 2 players from up that way, Cameron Harper, strongly expected to leave this summer, the other.....Mark Ridgers.
In that game ICT played 4 x English, 2 x Welsh and 1 x N.Irish men, so a majority weren`t even from Scotland. This is probably seen with a lot of premier league or championship teams but the ratio seems well off up there.
Ross County are no better but have Roy MacGregors millions. For all he talks about building a `legacy` and leaving behind a `sustainable football club`, he won`t really be doing that unless they also have a structure in place to develop players. They are a vanity project for him and will likely have the same difficulty as ICT when his investment goes.
I must have got out of the wrong side of bed today 😂

Some more horrible press for Caley. Team mates of Aaron Doran, a player who has been at Caley for 13 years, are crowd funding an ACL Op for him, as Caley have cancelled two ops and have gave no indication that he will get one, and he is now out of contract.
