As I stated 3 years ago these investors were not in it to see us as a club go up divisions.
Look where we are now and where has all the money gone?
We have a Astro for our top of the art Academy with portal bins to play…can’t even play reserve games and the place is a dump…EEP needs a lot of maintenance work done just by looking at the stadium…no money?
It’s just a shitshow at the moment…

I had my reservations as well. It’s sad to see my fears confirmed. I wanted to be wrong. I love this club and it is heartbreaking what has happened over the last few years. Staring down the barrel of another trip back down to the seaside league.

No, they weren’t. Quite a few of us were concerned about the new investors and their intentions, and not only posted our thoughts on here but also brought it up at the first supporters meeting after their appointment.
If you think it was just you then you’re very much mistaken. The difference being however is you have the knack of letting your mouth go before engaging whatever is between your ears and I suspect that’s why you were carded.
Do you see anyone else demanding an apology for their concerns?
And if you felt you were so hard done by why did you return?

Playing this back, in the 2022-23 season the club posted a £1m loss. This was explained in a club statement the basis of which was to gain promotion back into the chsmpionship in one season. The statement went on to say;
"We do expect to see improvements in the following year’s accounts, albeit we still have a lot of work to do to reduce costs and increase revenues further to achieve a break even position and bring about long term sustainability.
The backing, and long term commitment, from DAFC Fussball GMBH continues and we are hugely grateful for their support. Similarly, we recognise the outstanding backing our supporters continue to give week in, week out".
The 2023-24 season presented a different challenge with the number of injuries. In addition inflationary pressures increased the operating costs of the club.
The directors are investors, with a £1m operating loss in 2022-23 and no doubt further losses in 2023-24, I have no doubt the purse strings are being tightened. The key sentence above for me is the need to increase revenue. As investors they will be looking to get the club back to profitability. The key to that seems to be in the statement ie increasing revenue. Not so easy to do I am sure. One of those revenue streams is youth development. I think as investors if you were looking for a quick profit, I very much doubt you would try to achieve that by buying a championship club in Scotland. It therefore has to be something more and something longer term. No doubt it will be small steps. There have been a couple of steps backwards and this season is going to be challenging. All you can do is deal with what is in front of you. I don`t see any anyone ploughing in millions, or anyone walking away. JM will not be going anywhere. Sometimes you just have to make the best of it; keep the head down and keep working.

Indiapar there is no big revenue stream in youth development.
We have a 4G pitch with an abandoned building with portakabins for toilets etc and can’t play any reserve games as our facilities are not up to the regulations.

The failure as I see it is the lack of engagement to update the fans on what is happening. It maybe that things have set this back a year who knows.. The community club bit… I believe that’s missing at the moment. We’re not an old firm sized club. We rely on the hardcore support of the community in and around west/central fife yet it looks to me the club is being run as an entity much bigger than it is.
