I remember a line from the Walking Down the Halbeath Road fanzine...
"Have you, or anyone known to you ever won the halftime draw, or do you like the rest of us remain thousands away?"
The answer to the above is yes, I think I knew someone once.
But does anyone remember the last time the Fife Flyer won? I don`t do it every week I just usually throw my spare change from it after I have wagered on my harras of slow horses.
Sure as horsedip the week I give up it comes up.

I usually put a £1 on the Fife Flyer every week. Big spender lol. It’s not come up for about 3 or 4 seasons. Certainly not since Kelty Hearts came into the Flyer acca and Cowdenbeath left the league. Paying about 45/1 today!!

Im sure it came in recently. It’s 45/1 today on Unibet and all four clubs are Evens or above, so good odds, but requires some big results.

I won £830 in the half time draw in 1998 when George Shaw picked out my ticket. Danced up to the half way line, picture taken with the big cheque and then given 83 tenners to walk home with after the the game...😁

A guy I served with called that ‘The Traitor’s Foursome’. He was a Fiferbut didn’t really support a team and put it on every week, just in case
