Have they improved the viewing facilities since the last time we were there?

Nope!! I was there last month, as my daughter was taking part in a gymnastics competition. I had a wee walk around the back, just to see if there was any change and there was nothing.
Absolutely no way I’m going, horrendous environment to watch football and no doubt they’ll charge a good fee for the pleasure

Switching the game to EEP would make sense for both clubs - but that would require EC to agree obviously........and SFA approval presumably ?

It wouldn`t make sense for Edinburgh City as they would have to give up a home game that would provide them a better chance of advancing to the next round

That`s one consideration - however they are not without significant money worries, so a larger crowd would give them a better financial return.
They will (presumably) charge Championship admission prices which are not really justified considering the standard of the stadium.

Both clubs need to agree on prices I`m sure. If they can`t it will just be the admission price they have set for league fixtures

Why should it be changed? Because their stadium is a tip? We`ll not take any more than 1000 so there should be plenty of room.

Thats like saying every game v Cowden should have been at East End because Central Park isn’t fit for purpose 😂

You can`t switch venues any more, and you`ve not been able to for several seasons. You have to be licenced* to participate in the Cup so the ground has to be to a certain standard. Last swap I remember was Albion Rovers playing Celtic at Airdrie. Since then Aberdeen have played at Darvel, Celtic have played at East Kilbride etc
edited to add, *except for Junior Cup winners and Southof Scotland cup winners I think

Bad idea - they had a habit of beating us in key games at EEP.

A great chance to progress? Based on what exactly? We played 2 lower league oppositions at the start of the season at home in the cup What were the results of those games?
The game will probably be poorly attended so not exactly a glamorous tie for the bank balance and considering we struggled against lower league teams in the past doesn`t exactly fill me with much confidence.

Are you OK mate?
Compared to last years 3rd round draw against Raith who were flying at the time, or the years before away to Partick (twice) or Morton away I`d say it`s a good chance to get through.
Obviously we lost 2 games to lower league teams in August so you`re right, let`s not bother even turning up.

We`ve won our two away games against League 2 opposition so far. I think there is some basis to say we have a good chance to progress.

So based on last years games and the year before we RECENTLY were well beaten by 2 teams from lower divisions and we are struggling to score goals it`s hardly an easy game.

I must`ve imagined us beating Spartans (who won the group) and East Fife (who were top of League 2)
Like I said, are you OK? You seem a bit slow off the mark. The games referenced were given to try to prove that a game against a team 7th in league 2 is a decent chance to get through expecially compared to past seasons.
Not once did I say it would be easy.
What bit of that is hard for you to understand?

If it had been an earlier round and we`d been given a bye some of our `fans` would have seen it as a tough draw.
