Sublime hit from McCann. sitting in the Colin Weir stand I didn`t appreciate at the time how good a strike it was. a great flick from Kane too to set it up.

Ngwenya and Tobi could have done better at their goal.

It`s good to see other teams lose goals from corners too! Comrie`s touch seemed to be on target but the Thistle defender got the last touch.

Great improvisation from Kane with the overhead kick. Ashcroft wasn`t a happy bear after it for some reason.

My favourite goal was the fourth one though. Wotherspoon waited for just the right moment to play a perfectly weighted pass to McCann whose pace seemed to surprise the defender and he looked up and cut the ball back nicely for Cooper to hammer into the net.

In his after-match comments John McLaughlan was yet another manager/coach to sing McCann`s praises and say how difficult he is to play against. If he could find some consistency I don`t think he`d be long at the Pars.

Great performance and some great goals too.

The one we lost… Ngwenya got dragged inside as he thought thistle player might go through middle. I think Ngwenya actually played him onside which did not help. Chalmers ended up having all the time in the world. His shot was pretty poor actually and it somehow went through Tobi’s legs. He was unlucky there.

The way the players responded though was superb.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Something caught my eye after the fourth goal. Watch where the group of young Pars fans are, above the Glasgow Taxis sign. One of them was celebrating a little too much as he slips over and down into the enclosure below….lol

McCann`s goal is a goal of the month contender, beautiful. Kane`s was nice too. Any idea who hit the bar in the first half?

I really like McCann as a player, he gets a lot of stick on here but not from me. He just needs a bit of consistency but that could be said about a few players.

Long may performances like that continue.

It was Otoo who hit the bar in the first half.

Is it coincidence, that we have a centre half playing in his right position Fogerty, rather than Otoo or Hamilton being forced to play there, and results have picked up .

Not coincidence, it`s common sense. McPake for whatever reason stubbornly persisted with playing players out of position. I wonder what he must be thinking now after 2 games against the better teams, 4 points collected and 7 goals scored with the same squad he had at his disposal and could barely buy a goal?
