Sure it was high 5 figures.
Given a decent player even on loan for 4 months might well cost around £1000 a week you can see why we are negotiating hard on this.
Yesterday might well have strengthened our hand though.

BBC radio said the new owners were prepared to splash the cash. This would back up that statement.

Tidser has now effectively left Kelty, so their bargaining power is much reduced from a week ago.
I’d expect a figure between 50k and 80k for both and that figure to be nearer 50k ?

On Radio Scotland they seemed confident that the new buyers would reach a mutually agreeable amount. They also seemed sure that they want Tidser in place to implement their plans to add to the playing squad immediately in absence of the German investment which never happened.

A heard 50k last week too bud ... said it was a 5 figure sum which will rule out the 100k haha

I take great offence to you suggesting that what my uncles second cousin twice removed`s pal who used to work at the dockyard heard from a guy who overheard a conversation in the Kelty co-op last week may not have been a reliable source.

not sure how compensation works but some mentioning what they currently earn.
My thoughts were compensation is a combination of things such as how much it would cost to replace individuals involved , would they need to pay compensation for a replacement ,would they have to pay higher salary to the replacement

Buying out 2 x 4 months part time contracts won`t cost a lot. I am pretty confident a tribunal would land in our favor. I am actually hoping that Dave cook is playing hard ball with them, there is no need for the club to get ripped off. If Kelty wanted 50k+ for their manager they should have had them on longer deals.

It`s not me who should take offence. Why do so many people think the use of the internet bypasses the normal rules of civility? The forum`s not open to the folk who work at the club and are subjected to these kind of accusations. Do you think that kind of language would be used in an open meeting with the objects of the abuse present?
