After watching that today Bene needs dropped, his heads not in the right place and shouldn’t be near the team.
Also noticed Sam Fisher started for Stenhousemuir and was booked in first half and subbed off at half time.

Bene should have been dropped ages ago , Hammy should be nowhere near the team as a starter also , gives away too many fouls and too many stray passess certainly hope NL has seen all he needed to see today and where possible make the changes ! we need players that will give 110% effort till the end of the season maybe a few are short on the skill factor but I would like to see them giving their all out on the pitch

Surely Lennon has had a couple of bounce games organised since he came in to see the players in action?
Mind you the team he picked today suggested he had only met the players in the car park before the game.
Has Lennon done his homework and watched some games back? Doesn’t feel like it.

I did fear the worst when I seen that team.
How many managers seem to choose Chalmers is beyond me, he seemed to be playing left sided centre half today when we had Fogarty on the bench.
Hammy offer nothing, yes I know he’s a Pars fan but offers nothing at all.
Why on earth does Yeboah keep getting a game? Why not bring Stevens on to replace young.

Regardless of what is happening off the pitch I think Bene could be doing with a spell out of the team.
If we’re being honest he’s looked a yard off it since his injury.
I’d give Fogarty a chance alongside JCM.

Great we have players playing for us who support the pars/local lads, unfortunately they aren’t the level required for championship. Usual suspects today in McCann, Hamilton, bene for me who were poor. Comrie too think he’d be lucky if 3 of his passes made it to a team mate today

I think that him struggling to get back to full time fitness and his legal issues are playing a big part in his p15h performances.
Btw from what I’ve heard it was an extremely serious assault. Don’t really know the whole story but the lad involved was seriously injured

Tommy Fogarty for me hasn’t put a foot wrong. Looked dominant and commanding at centre half when he got a game. Think him and Mullen would make a great partnership. Both under 21 internationals. Fell out of favour with McPake after he went on international duty. He’s on loan from Birmingham City he must be so frustrated watching on thinking that he could make a difference. Bene has lost a yard of pace, runs like he’s towing a caravan. We need to be playing our best players. For me we should use this opportunity to get rid of both Bene & Fisher even though I think there is a player in Fisher. There is also a player in Reece Breen. For me all 3 way better than Bene.

Hamilton seems to think flying into tackles which he miss times more often than not and shouting at the referee all the time is showing passion. It`s infuriating when he runs the full length of the park to shout at the referee and get a yellow card for his efforts.

He should have been dropped a long time ago. He was toiling at this level before his injury, and if it’s even possible he’s lost whatever pace he had left. He’s not a leader either, as soon as the going gets tough his head goes down, shoulders slumped and he looks beaten. Every, single, week.

I remember a game against Forfar, pre season friendly this season I’m sure it was, when I knew his little pace had gone and it’s got progressively worse as the season has worn on.
He slid in, guy nipped past him and Bene was nowhere close to catching him. The boy wasn’t even that quick either.
You could see after the 2nd goal yesterday when he was slumped into the net after his howler, not long after that he was moved upfront…why?
Personally think he should be dropped and Fogarty should partner Mullen for remainder of the season.
Oli Shaw will have Bene on toast next weekend.

I don`t think Fogarty is any better than Bene, might be a bit faster but it is even less composed on the ball. He has also sold at least one goal this season, think it was the Queens away game, in which we actually played well but found a way to lose and not score. They are much of a muchness, whether Bene should be playing at the moment given the circumstances is open to debate.
I can`t understand using Oakley-Boothe, he just doesn`t offer anything, no dig whatsoever, doesn`t get up and down the park, doesn`t support the strikers. You might get a couple of decent passes from him but that is it. Chalmers was one of our better players, you will also get a couple of decent passes out of him, and you will at least get some effort and someone who actually takes responsibility on the ball. Hamilton is really limited but at least is aggressive and wins some battles, picks up some second balls. Otoo, when he is on it, is the best, of an admittedly very poor, crop of midfielders, he has the engine to get involved and has some composure. Playing two in the middle and having one of them as Oakley-Boothe is madness.
I also can`t understand how Yeboah is used ahead of Stevens and Cooper, he has pace, he might have one decent run per game but that is it, constantly loses the ball, partly because of a lack of movement, partly as the Championship is just to physical for him. Stevens has technique and can dribble, Cooper has good movement, is quite direct and pops up in good areas around the box.

It’s amazing how we see games and players differently. I think Fogarty is a really good player. He plays u21 for NI? He is not blemish free but tbh if you chop and change the team as often as we do then it’s difficult for players to settle. I think Fogarty is a great prospect and hoping he is with us next year.
Bene has been a great servant but has dipped massively since his injury. Fogarty should have replaced him weeks ago. Bene has lost the plot imo.
Also I believe the club should suspend Bene pending the court case. This is a serious charge and the players at the club are ambassadors and should conduct themselves as such off the pitch. Clearly if not guilty he should be reinstated otherwise sacked!

If Lennon genuinely believes that about Bene, then that has me worried about him now too. Archie has by all accounts looked good when played so why wasn`t he playing? Is it because he`s on loan from Rangers, surely not.
My hope is he`s looked very closely at thar team yesterday, spotted the completely useless ones, and will give other squad members a chance against livi.

There are some mind-boggling theories on here. One is that the players have thrown in the towel because they know they won`t be here next season. And of course those who will be here next season have nothing to play for because they already have a contract. Modern footballers eh? They managed to make it in a cut-throat business with no competitive spirit at all.

Everyone was garbage against Raith. Singling out Stevens is utter madness but not surprising.
I`m beginning to seriously wonder if certain folk ever look up from their phones between 3 & 5. They spend an awful amount of time hammering away at their keyboards. Mind you maybe not, suppose cut and paste would do it as it`s the same drivel before, during and after every game.

I don’t think either Tidser or McPake managed the players well enough. It’s not about shouting at them it’s about gaining respect as a Manager and if they don’t perform on the pitch making them accountable. I personally don’t think Lennon will put up with this crap and that he will get the support from the board to make changes.
Alex Ferguson was a good example (not that I am using him as a benchmark)! 🤣
