FFS... That's me on the bev tonight then.
Lucky enough to see him with Hamish Stuart at Carnegie Hall a few years back. Absolutely outstanding musician and part of the best brass section you'll ever hear, particularly since there were only two of them. Known as well for the invention of numerous bizarre cocktails, including a combination of vodka and Pepto Bismol, and being quite possibly the tallest sax player of all time.
Gutted by this news.
