Heading there on Thursday. Any tips on things to do?

I was there years ago and spent an enjoyable day walking round the green u (which is like a big park that circles the centre of town - it was the summer mind you!)

If you are passing then it is worth popping into library. I'm not one for architecture but that building had an amazing feel about it.

The zoo was nice (if you like them).

Area down by the Schlossplatz was nice too. Some impressive buildings.

We didn't go to the car museums.

Aye, that was the one thing I'd heard of. The car museums were worth a visit.

I went there several times in the '80s with work. Got to say that, apart from the Mercedes Museum which if you are into cars is very good, it was not the most memorable city.
