While the situation remains critical there is some positive news for those interested. Independent, Metro, Japan Times, le Monde and France 24 so far have also picked up the story.
but the following BBC article on the murder of an effective rhino crime investigator highlights what those on the front line are up against in the fight against transnational organised crime that is behind much of the poaching..
