 British TV

The suggestion is now that the likes of the BBC needs to produce more British TV.

Much as this suggestion is daft, isn't there already plenty British TV? I've always argued Scottish TV is typically crap as it's almost always Glasgow based. We get the occasional thing like Shetland or Traces (Dundee) but it's very rare they leave Glasgow.

I've read that twice and I've still got no idea what he's gibbering on about. Looks like he's stood down today.

It’s only news and current affairs - the rest is ITV. They haven’t contributed to the network since Taggart.

STV don't just produce for themselves though. Same as ITV they produce programmes for other channels. Most of it is likely quiz shows and documentaries though. They did a really good one a while back about a woman with dementia (it was better than it sounds). I wish they'd bring back Rebus. Good to hear an attempt at a Fife accent on the TV.

BBC Scotland do produce some good stuff, just too few and far between.

If Guilt 2 is half as good as the original, it’ll be worth watching.

HELP on channel 4 last night was excellent, brilliant acting and factual?

Quality TV and deserves an award, big difference to the perpetual soaps!

It was superb. Jodie Comer gave an unbelievable performance of something that has been at the centre of our lives for the last 18 months. This was very much a representation of real life in care homes through this pandemic and I hope people watch it and realise there`s a lot more too the pandemic than just politics and point scoring
