The first pre-season home game saw the visit of Football League One Side Bristol Rover to East End Park. Pars striker Tam McManus twice give the lead to the Pars only for Bristol Rovers to come back to force a stalemate to 2-2.

The Pars are host to Bristol Rovers tonight with the first of the home games for the pre-season. Team news will be up at about 7.15pm with the game kicking off at 7.30pm and not 7.45pm.

The Pars were again on their travels in preparation for the forthcoming season in Division 1 – this time to another picturesque ground in the venue of Dumbarton.
The ground is directly under the shadow of Dumbarton Rock and its one-stand ground contains a very impressive function room which was hosting a wedding reception just minutes after the match!

This game saw a welcome return to first-team for Club Captain Scott Thomson and a debut for new-signing Kevin Harper. The Pars started the game well with lots of posession and Mark Burchill opened the scoring with a free header. Stephen Simmons doubled the score before the break with a fine strike. Stephen Glass completed the scoring before Brechin City got a goal back through Darren Smith on the hour mark.
