Walking Football Over 50`s Programme

The slower version of the beautiful game hel at Pitreavie Sports and Soccer Centre.
Walking football is a variant of association football that is aimed at keeping people aged 50+ involved with football if, due to a lack of mobility or for other reason, they are not able to play the traditional game. The sport can be played both indoors and outdoors.
Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Friday evening saw a glimmer of hope for Pars fans, as they travelled to local rivals Raith Rovers on Match-Day 3 of the SPFL Cinch Championship.
Unfortunately, the electric atmosphere couldn`t help the match reach a conclusion, with play halted only 12 minutes into the first Fife Derby of the 2021/22 campaign, due to an earlier power cut continuing to cause safety concerns for supporters.
Dunfermline lose to Rangers in the Scottish League Cup

On Friday the 13th Augusts, Rangers sailed past Dunfermline to reach the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals, ending a run of three defeats. The current SPL champions had recently suffered an embarrassing Champions League loss at the hands of Malmo. However, the Ibrox side made eight changes and were rewarded for an early mistake from Dunfermline as John Lundstram scored in the opening three minutes.

Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust have put together a video for all Pars fans which celebrates the promotion winning season of 1995/96.
1995/96 was one of the most momentous seasons in the history of the Club, encompassing both tragedy and ultimately triumph.
One Point Is Better Than None

Saturday saw the opening SPFL Cinch Championship matches of the season take place. Like every side, Dunfermline Athletic were hoping to start off their new term in good form. A tough away trip was not the ideal opening for the Pars, with Greenock Morton`s Cappielow Park notoriously difficult for the West Fifers in recent campaigns.
