Sun, 22nd Sep 2002
So, the winning streak – that is, the Pars’ on the pitch and not the red one sprawling across moaning James McFadden’s cranium – continues. Pars player ratings v Motherwell
Sat, 21st Sep 2002
Dunfermline today managed to grind out another three points at home to Motherwell. It was not pretty and it was not the free flowing football we know they can play, but the three points were won which is the important thing. This was a tricky tie for Dunfermline who have been getting praise lavished upon them recently, they were in a no win situation today so thankfully came up with the goods in the form of those three points.

Six half hours, six goals, six points. The last week has indeed been pleasing for supporters of Dunfermline – a team who has always struggled to pick up good results away from home in recent years – because, all of an unexpected sudden, it has given them justification in travelling away from home believing that their team has a good chance of picking up a decent result.
