It was a free weekend for the Pars following the postponement of their SPFL Trust Trophy matvh against Celtic B due to International Call-Ups.
However, this Saturday`s opponents Peterhead – who travel to KDM Group East End Park - sitting bottom of SPFL cinch League One, were in action at home to Elgin City. Jim McInally`s men never made it through Round 3, following a 4-0 loss to Gavin Price`s side.

Last weekend`s SPFL Cinch League One matches, in conjunction with the rest of the UK`s professional football matches, was postponed following the passing of Great Britain`s longest reigning Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II – Her Majesty passed away on Thursday 8th of September, with the confirmation of matches being stopped on Friday the 9th of September.

Ambitious Airdrieonians Disappoint Dunfermline

An ambitious display of attacking football by Airdrieonians at KDM Group East End Park on Saturday, saw the Pars drop points at home in League One for the first time this campaign.
Dunfermline were left disappointed after taking the lead through ex-DAFC defender Callum Fordyce, who headed into his own net following a throw-in, before Adam Frizzell`s equaliser with 15 minutes to go meant the game would finish 1-1.
