Jim Leishman
Jim touches upon the news of Burley’s departure and how it might have affecte Hearts, saying that it could have flattened them or spurred them on. It turned out to be the latter, however, Jim feels that his side seemed to be coming through that only to have Skacel score out of nothing. The second half was better in Jims eyes and he lists a number of chances that came and passed with no result and this is the difference between a win and a loss. When asked about George Burley, Leishman talks of past meetings and what he knows of the man but explains that he cant possibly comment on the situation at Tynecastle as he has his own problems to deal with. He goes on to assert his opinion that it is not through lack of commitment that the Pars have taken just 5 points in the first quarter of the season. Moving onto Wednesday nights game there is further injury and illness worries with players falling foul of a virus that is working its way around East End Park.
