Limited edition Charlie Dickson print available
Author: Jason Barber Date: Monday, 21st Nov 2005Edinburgh artist, Splodge, was commissioned to do a run of just ten prints of both Roy Barry and Charlie Dickson for the inaugral DAFC Hall of Fame event in 2004.
Most of these prints were sold off on the night, with proceeds again going to the Pars trust.
One of the Charlie Dickson prints is now available and dafc.net readers can bid on the item when it is listed on ebay in the next few days.
Now there is a chance to own a rare piece of Pars memorabilia!
In these times when the team can barely manage a strike on goal, Dickson`s club record of 215 goals in 340 games will likely stand for all time.
In his 9 years at the club, he was top scorer for six of those seasons.
The prints are 11.5 inches x 16 inches and framed in a clip frame.
Parslass (from the dafc.net forums) is selling the print and is aiming to raise as much money as possible for DAFC.
Les said "In one way or another, the money i make from these will go to the club - more than likely as a donation to the Trust. Regardless of how little or much they make, all the money coming in is good as far as i`m concerned."
So keep your eyes peeled on ebay over the next few days and get bidding to have Charlie Dickson`s image hanging up on your wall!
Dickson was remembered by the club at the Legends Reunited event in 2004, when he was given a special presentation to recognise his scoring feats whilst at Dunfermline.
