Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Sunday, 4th Dec 2005Highlights from interviews given by Craig Robertson and Jim Jeffries after the game against Kilmarnock at EEP.
Craig Robertson
Craig begins by pointing out that it has been the story of our season that we play well but cant find the net regularly enough. He feels that Dunfermline matched Kilmarnock in most areas, and believes that the Ayrshire outfit are a good side. Craig talks of how the lack of pressure on the players at Celtic Park helped them and he insists that the players have to deal with the pressure of playing other teams. He tell us that Burchill has been training and that a few other players are soon to return to action.
Jim Jeffries
Jim is happy with his sides play but admits that his often inept defence held firm and stopped Dunfermline making chances. He praises many of his players for having good performances and states that he didn’t have a failure on the park today. Speculation about Boyd’s future is met with scorn because he feels he has answered the same question week in week out, but admits that if an offer is made that they cant turn down they will accept. Jim states that he would be delighted just to be in the top six although he is looking to consistency to stay where he is or go upwards.
