Partick Thistle Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Sunday, 19th Oct 2008Highlights from interviews given by Jim McIntyre and Ian McCall after the game against Partick Thistle at EEP.
Jim McIntyre
Obviously pleased with the result, having added another 3 vital points to the teams tally, McIntyre plays down the importance of results else where. Although this weeks fixtures sees The Pars sit joint top of the table, the manager is adamant that he is focussed on only one set of players doing the business. He feels his side could have had a few more goals in the game but is glad that the better team won following a few changes to the back line.
Ian McCall
The Thistle manager, Ian McCall, believes his side should have got something out of the game and deserved just that. Certainly dissapointed at the result he takes comfort in the fact that his team has upped its performance since the last time it played. Although, obviously a set back, McCall is still confident that his team will challenge at the top rather than the bottom.
