Competition Winner collects prize
Date: Sunday, 26th May 2002The Goal of the Season winner has collected his prize.
Paul Barnes of Dunfermline is seen collecting his new Pars Top and book Hampden Babylon (that`s Paul on the right!). Paul chose David Nicholls goal also chosen by our panel of experts.
Paul is a student at Stirling University and his main concern at present is that he may miss the games at East End Park next season due to work commitments.
Paul chose Scott Thomson as his Player of the Year. He chose Scott because of his superb performances this year and his versatility all over the park. Paul chose Gary Mason as his Young Player of the Year because he thought Gary had also contributed greatly to the team this year.
We have been able to run quite a few competitions since joining Rivals so those pesky pop-ups had some value !
Remember to enter the Player of the Year as there is Justin Skinner`s Number 4 top as a prize.
We will have to look next year at what we will be able to do, with the loss of Rivals advertising revenue we really won`t be able to offer the same level of prizes. Rivals did have some benefits.
