Attention all Pars Fans!!!!!!!!
Date: Friday, 11th Oct 2002DAFC are keen to announce that Dunfermline Athletic FC has this week launched a new initiative aimed at increasing attendances at East End Park. We now need our fans help to ensure its success but first a little information about the initiative.
What is the initiative?
It is planned that Event Exchange will contact existing and lapsed fans on our behalf to find out why those lapsed fans stay away and to see what it might take to encourage them to return.
By going through this process it will help us to understand the reasoning behind why many fans choose to stay away and will help us to look at ways of getting fans back to East End Park.
This backs up further the first fans survey we did earlier in the year - which was targeted at those who attend and not those who don’t come any more - a difficult group for us to reach on our own.
What help do we need from you?
We are sure that you will all know many lapsed fans - you may even be trying to get them back to the park yourself but by providing us with their names and contact details it lets us re-establish a link with them.
How will you be contacted?
You will be phoned by one of our representatives and they will ask you for names of fellow fans that have stopped attending East End Park, if you know of these fans please let our callers know as it will help the whole initiative.
Your co-operation is fundamental to the success of our initiative and any help you can give will be very welcome and greatly appreciated.
