JOHN YORKSTON`s post match interview regarding his on-air comments prior to the match. Taken out of context these comments would seem to be pretty harsh, but considering that Martin O`Neill was stating that the pitch was dangerous, Yorkston retaliated (as a joke) that Balde caused more injuries than the plastic pitch. Evidence seems to suggest that its a total fantasy that the plastic pitch causes greater injuries than grass.

GORGI HRISTOV on his first start in the SPL, the game was over in the first 10 to 15 minutes. He was asked about his knee and whether he thought it would be OK on the plastic pitch, but he said that it was too early to say.

DAVID HAY disapointed on the two early goals, blames it on defensive errors and by that time the game was over. Also states that Hristov had a run and may play on Saturday against Aberdeen.
