On 29th June 2000 Dunfermline Athletic unveiled 2 new signings, along with what is being touted as the biggest shirt supply deal in the club's history.
In a packed press conference, the new strip was unveiled to the waiting media by Pars Manager Jimmy Calderwood, flanked on his right hand side by Eddie Duncan of shirt manufacturers TFG, and by Frank McConnell, one of the Directors of the club.
The new shirt, as revealed some time ago on this site, features thin white stripes on a black background and is strikingly different from any previous pars strip. Clearly the club are hoping that this new design will spark a feeding frenzy as fans scramble to get their hands on the new strip.
Dunfermline have signed a three year deal with TFG who will supply a complete range of replica kit and related clothing such as track suits.
